FactoryWiz and MaintiMizer Merge to Form Celsus Software to Offer Integrated Software to Manufacturing and Other Industries

4/6/2026 – Corvallis, OR

With their combination into the newly formed Celsus Software Inc., the MaintiMizer and FactoryWiz products are the foundation blocks of the Celsus Software Platform. While a new entity, each of the partners brings thousands of customers and decades of experience in their respective product lines. Information on Celsus Software, Inc. can be found at www.celsussoftware.com.

The FactoryWiz line of products was created by Refresh Your Memory, Inc. (RYM) – experts in the CNC machinery communications space since 1983. Their first product was a Direct Numerical Control (DNC) system allowing machinery to run directly from a Commodore computer instead of paper tape. Over subsequent years RYM provided increasingly sophisticated systems for managing program communications and control until 2008 when RYM decided to leverage their decades of CNC experience by building a modern web based machine monitoring system. Hundreds of factories around the world use FactoryWiz products every day to manage part program transmission and collect monitoring data for productivity improvement.

MaintiMizer is one of the first and originating Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) in the industry, with its initial deployment in 1985. The development came about by two business partners, Clyde Kloack and Don Bronnenkant, who together formed CK Systems with the intention of bringing computers into the maintenance department, making maintenance easier to manage. In 2002, MaintiMizer was acquired by Ashcom Technologies, headed by Tim Good, who continued MaintiMizer development with mobile devices, SQL database technology, SaaS-based offerings, and more. Now MaintiMizer joins the Celsus Software portfolio to continue its support of maintenance professionals with departmental intelligence, by streamlining their communications and centralizing their activities into one platform.

“Our vision is to provide a full suite of complimentary products to help manufacturers run their operations in a seamless manner, with data shared between previously disconnected systems” said Richard Hefner, long time leader of FactoryWiz and now CEO of Celsus. “By bringing together a proven solution for maintenance scheduling, execution, and documentation with the live data feed of a comprehensive machine monitoring system – our customers will be able to more quickly tie service requests to changing conditions on the shop floor. Furthermore, this unified platform brings opportunities for automation and AI development to further benefit our customer base.”

Celsus Software will be headquartered in Corvallis, OR and combines engineers and other talent from across the country. “Building a new product in this space would have taken many years to get right. Celsus has brought mature products with experienced teams together to give our customers feature-complete software on day one. It’s exciting for me, it’s exciting for our team members, and I hope it will be exciting for our customers. Everything about this is a win-win-win.”
